Don Crampton and Liz Crampton are the third and fourth generations of Crampton attorneys, respectively. Don’s father and Liz’s grandfather, Scott P. Crampton, was a tax lawyer who practiced law in Washington, D.C. for over 50 years. Scott P. Crampton was appointed to the justice department under the Nixon administration as an assistant attorney general, and head of the Tax Division. He also lectured at New York University Tax Institute. Don’s grandfather and Liz’s great grandfather, P.S. Crampton, practiced law in Cleveland, Ohio for over 50 years. Don has since retired.
